Panellists: Eamon Ryan (Green Party), Marion McKeon (barrister), Damien English (Fine Gael) and Michael Clifford (Sunday Tribune)

Why is Mary Coughlan not resigning for her incompetence in dealing with Ryanair

Please ask Eamon Ryan, that given their sky is falling attitude to the weather, the fact that they are a statistical anomaly in the poles, and that they are now FF lackeys, if perhaps the rest of The Green Party should admit the game is up, and also resign...
Martin, Carrick-on-suir.

when i hear the likes of gormley, ryan and boyle speaking on tv or in the dail or seanad these days it turns my stomach, these men which i held in high esteem in the past have turned into nothing more than another wing of ff i urged them to get out of dis so called goverment as soon as possibable and save what bit of creditability they have left.
Connie foley, macroom.

please ask the green td How is ireland going to be compeditive esp. RE agriculture , energy and jobs
***
Vincent the only reason the greens are staying in government is that Eamon Ryan and John Gormally will get a ministers pension once they are in government for over 3 years. Election in June and the greens will end up like the PD s!
Derek, Ringsend
***
the greens will do and say anything to stay in power because they know if they pull out their party would be annihilated in an election! This goes to prove that power corrupts!where is this honesty and integrity that they drone on about?
***
Where is John Gormley & why does he send someone else out 2 bat 4 the Greens. A sure sign of cowardice on Gormally's part.
M. Walsh
***
greens wl stay in power at any cost - no principals - voted confidence without knowing the facts - so not 2 b trusted just lakies for fianna fail.

What are the panel being so hard on The Green's for. They DID get Willie O'Dea to resign!
***
obvious green's know they're history, will hang in gov until they get some of their policies through before disappear
john woods, dublin 14

will you please give the willie o dea thing a break and talk about helping to get our country out of the mess we in it wont matter who in goverment they all the same
***
the greens are cowards and are afraid to leave thier partners in crime
***
I think the greens are well intentioned but i wish they would pull out of government. How can they work with their arrogant, incompetent partners. I think it is a disgrace that people get a lump sum when they resign. Why do people get rewarded for doing wrong! Look at the bankers that got us into this mess, they are retiring on huge pensions while their actions have destroyed many of the average joe bank officials life savings in the form of bank shares given to reward hard work.
***
i am not a green voter but i think its disgraceful that you and your pitiful panel can only try to undermine probably one of our most honest politicians, wat a joke, actually i vote fg and that fg guy u hav on has nothing new to say,
joe, lmk

the barrister talking about ethics and morals.her profession are in no place to judge anyone .they are on the grave train and robbing the tax people of ireland to long.
liam, cork.

Your panelist mckeon can't bemoan a lack of standards while throwing unproven charges of perjury around like confetti. Greens were in obviously difficult position.
James, hollyford

the only interest Eamonn is protecting is his own big salary does he really expect us to believe he has the interest of the people at heart after voting for the disabled the blind the Carers to have their social welfare cut not to mention the christmas bonus does he think we are all fools

Would please tell Minister Ryan of the Green "Tax" Party that they are finished as far as the ordinary voter is concerened. Not because of their stance on the Willie O' Dea issue but because they are introducing stealt taxes. Eco Tax & Water Rates!
***
Eamonn Ryan is a decent if somewhat deluded man, but nevertheless one of the few shining lights of this horrendous government. However, for the sake of the country, I plead with him and his fellow Greens to now follow Sargent's dignified and honorable example and pull the plug on this dreadful and shambolic government.
Tom, D14

i am uneducated but my own self education on the internet and its clear that govt supports the casino banksters and very few others while they wait for their board membership to banks.
***
greens r talking complete rubbish saying they're acting in the best interests of the lrish people. They're acting in their own interest to stay in power cos they know they'd b gone like the pd's if there was a general election
***
Eamon Ryan thinks its in the best interest of the country for the government to continue in power to get the country back on its feet. Does he not think that the people of this country should decide who should run the country now as it is clear both the greens and the fianna fail dont know how to run the country.
