just to clear it up for your viewers, Gallis and Henry were not offside as a result.check the rule book.

Our amateur GAA organisation replayed Offally and Clare over 10 years ago because of a referee error so the so called professional body should also do the same! He is a cheat simple as that!

What do the panel think of introducing umpires. Works in GAA and Ausie Rules

I watch the show every night and I have to say im really dissapointed with you tonight. You are almost being patronising to the panel and all the Irish fans in the country.

A replay is the only fair way but we all know its not going to happen but they have to make a stance on this now.
Video referee is the only way they can now go.

We are telling our children that its ok to cheat - once the referee doesnt see you. Its a shame for the game.

We almost qualified and it would have been the boost the country needs at the moment.

The whole world of football is disappointed with the stolen of win from Ireland. There was a protest against French and FIFA in Onitsha in Eastern Nigeria. My email inbox, phne messages and facebook are filled with reactions from Nigeria, Kenya,Cameroun,Ivory Coast against FIFA decision against Ireland. Most African newspapers are wrote against this decision.

Ireland has been robbed.

The Irish team may have lost but they will return home heroes, whereas the French team return home tainted as cheats.
Henri as world footballer has belittled himself, his team and his country, and if I were cynical I might think that Fifa could have ulterior motives for easing France's way to S.A. if the seedy, sorry I mean seeding arrangements didnt favour them enough, after all, not wanting the cameras to aid decision making might be considered to leave enough room to influence
results the way you want them to go

Managers can request 3 replays per game. Replays last 10 seconds and any offense within that period could be identified and the referee ajudicate accordingly. Sam

i have been involved in soccer all my life and have never felt so dejected. if Henry had a consience he would appeal to french F.A.. for a replay.

The one good thing to come out of the handball last night from the government's point of view is that Brian Vowen is no longer the most hated man in Ireland.

On a more serious level, I was at the match & the team played their hearts out & can be proud of their performance.

why is it you don't have an ex referee on to give the official verdict? I am a former premier league referee here in Ireland and South Africa and a strange irony has been missed by all.
