Topic: The state of the health care system in Ireland and the 2nd British election debate.

Panellists: Sara Burke, Dr Patrick Plunkett, Terry Prone and Eoin O'Malley.

How can the government justify sending millions to Greece a few weeks ago and bailing out the banks when the country is in this state?

A leaders debate would be no good in this country as when Irish people vote in the general election they never think of national issues. For proof of this just look at some of what is in the Dail, most of them not fit to sit on any kind of club committee. Only elected on issues like wheelie bins and medical cards.

I hope the Tories get in because that is the only way to block a European Superstate. I have no faith in our Quisling politicians to do so.

Please explain to me. Why should we be interested in the UK Election?

The Liberal Democrats will be king makers in a hung parliament and judging by their Tory-bashing at every other Leaders Questions, its most likely they would side with Labour and everything will be ''as you were''.

Why have you got Terry Prone on the show? She's dreadful, glib, smarmy, boring, trying to hog the show.

Abolish private health care and create universal free health service paid for by national insurance stamp and taxing wealth.

Hi Vincent. The British Elections mean nothing to us here. So who cares? Our country is bankrupt. This text will probably go as my 327 did.

Crisis fatigue. Just send in the clowns, oh sorry we already have them.

Why don't you give credit to Willie Walsh for lifting the flight ban.

Michael, Santa Ponsa

This country is not interested in the British general election. Terry Prone makes us turn to another station. She gets a lot of attention and craves it.

I watched Enda Kenny a few weeks ago and it was like watching the second coming of Christ, his arms extended in every direction and eyes that follow you around the room. What a nightmare and so boring.

Is it poverty that leads to illness or illness that leads to poverty?

That Dr. must be living in the Utopia that all consultants n this country are living. He well knows that private patients ALWAYS get preferential treatment.

Surely people who can afford it should pay for health and those who cannot afford it should not have to? Health is more important than alcohol, nicotine, gambling etc etc.

Vincent today Mother Eireann and her most vulnerable have been given a debt sentence by a governing Fianna Fail whose previous leaders would turn in their graves if they could see what has crippled the heart of true compassion of those elected to serve all the people of this broken republic. We are the people and we shall OVERCOME.

Our whole health system is top heavy with bureaucracy. Too system serves those with private insurance. If one goes public, you go on the list. If private Vincent, you get looked after next day by consultant. This is happening in public Hospitals. Consultants giving private patients priority. And this is happening in public hospitals. Health executive continue to ignore this practice.

The world is run by crime, sleaze, brown envelopes, bribery, greed, blackmail vanity and moral incompetence (though this a shortened list). Everybody gets "dirtied" by their own choice OR by association, and then this "weak spot" is played on, the "fear" of exposure magnified (in media vilification of similar wrongdoing to emphasise) and the "evil game" goes on. Flattered, pampered, seduced by wealth and position, eventually self image overcomes clear decision making. Their fall - their destruction the whole idea - is severe, vicious and thorough as it was their initial idealism that was feared.
