Topic: Vincent discusses the issue of equality, after the publication of former Equality Authority CEO Niall Crowley's new book.

Vincent, should there not be a "ceiling" in what one can earn from the Public Purse in certain grades? 1.75 - 2 mill over a career (exception for consultants etc perhaps?) and this 2 cover pensions, health etc and "freebies"? This may be "simplistic" but the "IDEA" HAS MERIT? To sort out the GREEDY from CONSCIENCIOUS CAREERISTS they would be paid minimum wage if staying on after earning their limit? (not sure if "limit set too high) Mention tonight?

I’m chuffed Niall Crowley is gone. We can’t afford the "luxury" of a bunch of looney liberals wasting our money taking inane cases through our courts. That’s an abuse of equality!

The Equality business in this country is a total cod. It thrives on victimhood, isms and phobias eg: Racism sexism ageism; Homophobia Islamophobia Xenophobia etc. The isms and phobias are its raison d'etre. Equality has been highjacked in this country by a shower of agenda driven zealots, devoid of any common sense.

The equality authority has a major legal conference on the equal status act tomorrow and launches it's 7th say no to ageism week on Monday.

Could Mr Crowley tell us where is the equality in "gays" demanding "marriage when most of the "hetero's today are just "shacking" up? (great you have the brilliant David Quinn to promote real equality). Bullying/disguised agendas should not be tolerated under "nice" soundbites. The removal of Christianity from prominence in people's life is only pandering to vocal "minorities" like reverse racism, feminists, gays, court-room chasers, and such like.

Great show Vincent the equality authority board was the only place where discrimination of travellers was actually dealt with in a fair manner. Now if a traveller decides to pursue someone for discrimination against them, they have to go to court and there is a very high number of these cases thrown out by the judges. Shame on our government

If half your panel think there is no gender inequality issues in Ireland please have them explain why there is almost always only one token woman on your panels.

You are so liberal you are incapable of logical thought or reason on any topic with which there is a counter view. The equality authority was a disaster and at variance with the views and attitudes of the vast majority of the country.
