Families forced from Moyross

Two more families have been forced out of Moyross while the campaign of anti-social behaviour continues and the politicians take a long summer holiday.

The action plan by former Dublin City Manager John Fitzgerald has so far failed to curb criminal activity in the area.

The fact is while he has demolished some already derelict houses, Mr. Fitzgerald has not come up with any method of ending the campaign of terror in Moyross.

In recent days two more families have been forced out of the area because of intimidation by criminal gangs.

Already one man has been shot dead and the warfare continues with the threat of ongoing violence still hanging over innocent people.

The politicians and Mr. Fitzgerald are now going on a long summer holiday and will not meet again until early October.

During the long hot summer the people of the area will still be at the mercy of criminal gangs and subject to an ongoing campaign and yet all Mr. Fitzgerald has done so far is to formally open a new library at the entrance to Moyross.
