we in Lilliput conducted a census to find out the numbers invovled in crime. We found that between white and blue collar crime 90% of the population were involved and the other 10% didnt know they were? We found that the System, Educational, Economically, the Entertainment Industry, Media, Law Enforcement and Sport were the main driuing forces behind this growth and thriving business as anything that had tried to stem this tide was deemed "outdated", not "modern", not PC correct, anti-feminist, sexist, or as a last resort, by those who benefit most from the evils of crime, against equality legislation.

the criminal world is laughing at the justice system the gardai in particular took their eye off the ball for years and now have to contend with the likes of these scumbags in limerick rgds

The only way 2 deal wit these scumbags is life in prison doing hard labour.many states in d usa hve reintroduced d chain gangs.they hve no fear of anytin r any1 and shld b treated like d animals dat dey r.

We salute and support Mr Collins and Mr Hennessy who are fine brave men! Stay brave!

the prisons are not a deterent they are far too comfortable for serious criminals like these intimidators

***

bring back vincent!

***

the Garda management bear a huge responsibility for the growth in gang crime. Gardai should be drawn from every station in the country to police every movement of these gang members. As your solicitor states we are talking about approx 200 people here.

Eamonn

the statistics might show crime on a whole has not increased dramatically in so many years but my figuring of that is our justice system should have been changed or adjusted that many years ago also and those statistics should show a decrease. Our justice system is shameful for the whole country

***

Perhaps the garda commissione wud explain why despite the increase n no-go areas, gardai seem 2 stand idly by.

J Murphy, Dunshaughlin

no wonder criminals are laughin at us. The loony liberals shud hang their heads in shame. There shud b no concurrent sentences, no remission, life sentences which mean life never gettin out 2 murder n rape again. Thanks 4 givin decent victims a platform. The DPPs who have a softly softly approach are a sick joke but decent humanity suffers coz the law is an ass.

Steve Collins is a Hero, For a father to go through what he did & still stand up to these Louts takes a lot of guts. Good luck to the man & best wishes to his family.

The sentencing for serious crime is extremely lenient in this country but most people including myself feel so frustrated about it how do we in about getting the government to sit up take notice and act . This thing of putting brothers and cousins in cells together is crazy they shouldnt be even in the same prison

***

Tell me this, how come crime is soaring... & yet we never had as many cameras, only thing cameras do is sat isfy our fear!

Pat, Termonfeckin

***

Steve what a brave and dignified man you are. My heart goes out to your family.

Whats the point in having Satellites when they DONT PATROL the sky 2 keep an eye them who are over & above the LAW IRELAND needs REAL law reform PERIOD

***

Why do we have a constitution that seems to protect criminals and bankers the same as i.e. Destroying lives, than it does the law abiding citizen.

Tom

***

rape, murder.why do judges never give the max sentence for these crimes.irish sentences are an insult to the victims.judges need to wake up.

WHAT is it going to take 4 REAL, political, social, and LAW reform, in a lawless society where mickey mouse laws dont uphold JUSTICE against the guilty

***

Our archaic laws are based on the premise that; Tis better a guilty man walk free than that an innocent man spend one night in prison.. Oh dear.
