SALES HAVE MORE than doubled since the beginning of summer at Seery's Biscuits Ltd of Tullow, County Carlow. The company expects to conntinue its phenomenal growth, as a result of the recent addition of four new lines to its product range.
Since introducing its wholesome biscuits to the Irish market in October 1984, the response has been well above expectations. "The response to date from both trade and consumer has been most encouraging," enthused managing director Mr Oliver Seery, "CTT have been a great help with our initial foray into the UK and USA. I expect more success in these markets, built on increasing penetration on the home front."

Fifteen people are currently emmployed between the production plant in Tullow and the sales force, which is led by Tom 0 'Connor. These figures are expected to double by the end of the year.

THE CONFIDENCE SHOWN by Bell Advertising earlier this year in expannding its Creative, Studio and Media Departments continues to payoff. Recently they announced the arrival of their fifteenth new account this year, winning the CDL account in the face of fierce competition from other leading advertising agencies.

"The account was won by Bell Advertising because of their ability to really understand, and get to grips with, our very complex business, and this was reflected in their marketing and creative strategies," said Eugene Gibney, Marketing Director of Coal Distributors Limited.

Other major accounts won earlier this year include Cheeseborough-Ponds, JS Distributors (ITT and Luxor TV sets), True Temper, Technico Commmunications, and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

STUART FOGARTY has been elected a Director of the Board of Dublin Advertising Agency, Aubrey Fogarty Associates Ltd.

He is a graduate of University Colllege Dublin, a mem ber of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and a mem ber of the Institute of Advertising Practiitioners in Ireland.

He remains as Account Executive within the client service structure of the agency.
