Blair's epitaph

With great relief we can say good bye to frankly the worst leader the world has ever seen. Tony Blair has spun so much; he has crashed out of the game. He thought he could change the world, well he has done - for the worse.

The abominations of the war in Iraq; his infamous claim that it would only take Saddam Hussein 45 minutes to inflict a chemical/biological attack; the suicide of David Kelly, who was driven to it by the Blair government; the sleaze of Prescott; the sleaze of Cherie Blair's friends; the increase in security to the point where the United Kingdom has practically turned into a totalitarian state.

Blair will not accept being judged on these issues by you or me but by the higher powers which he answers to. What an embarrassment to have been in the European Union with a United Kingdom lead by Blair. I laugh to hear that he is touting himself to be a peace envoy in the Middle East. How can he justify it when his foreign policies have gone far further than anyone else's to antagonize the situation further?

Eire does not have to be involved in the UK's bloody atrocities on smaller, weaker countries anymore since our independence. Even though we don't have to, we still should, as it is a sin to stand back and watch a bully attack something weaker than itself and not say something against it.

Let me put down the claim that Blair made in the House of Commons on the 24 September 2002,

"It [the intelligence service] concludes that Iraq has chemical and biological weapons, that Saddam has continued to produce them, that he has existing and active military plans for the use of chemical and biological weapons, which could be activated within 45 minutes, including against his own Shia population; and that he is actively trying to acquire nuclear weapons capability".

At least 66,000 Iraqi civilians are dead because of Blair's reason to go into war. Blair likes history to judge him. Well since this statement is now part of that history it can be judged as completely false since no weapons have ever been found or are ever likely to be found since they did not exist in the first place. Hard to find something that doesn't exist, isn't it?

I do hope that Blair can sleep well at night thinking about those 66,000 souls, and I hope he is brought to account for the above statement now that he has no longer the position that afforded him the protection to make it. Indeed, I hope it us mere mortals that bring him to account for it now rather than leaving it to his higher powers. I think The Hague is the best place to try a war criminal.

Blair has interfered enough in the Middle East, areas where he has never democratically been elected in; he has wielded a lot of power and devastation. Try putting your own country to right before interfering in others, Mr. Blair.
