'Surge' in Fianna Fáil support

What's wrong with you people? If the latest polls are to be believed Fianna Fáil are actually going up in the polls according to the latest polls! One would have thought the voters were dying to get their revenge on Fianna Fáil for all their litany of broken promises and years of underinvestment in areas of key infrastructure such as the health service, public transport, education and housing, but to name a few, not to mention Fianna Fáil's complicity in the Iraqi war by allowing U.S. bombers and “Flights of Rendition” (Torture!) to stop and refuel at Shannon. 

Plus the Aér Lingus and Aér Rianta workers are just waiting to get their revenge on Fianna Fáil. Its only when you go abroad and see how modern and efficient key services are, that you realise how much we've been conned and diddled out of having modern and efficient key services by 10 years of Fianna Fáil led Governments, and all of this at a time of unprecedented prosperity when we did have the money to invest in areas of key infrastructure, so that we could have had modern and efficient key services.  Having said that, from all the feedback I've got from various people, I don't believe those polls apparently showing a sudden surge in Fianna Fáil support. 

I believe the reality is far different. You would wonder sometimes about these polls, are they a desperate attempt by Fianna Fáil and their friends in the media to try and swing the result in the final days of the election campaign?
