PDs stray from the people's agenda
Where the Progressive Democrats would have you believe that a better return on your income tax duties is the obvious path for the electorate to make a decision on future governments; it seems ferociously inconsiderate to the floating voters represented in two separate RTE editions of the Frank Opinion - where health as been expressly proven to be the most important point on the agenda.
McDowell's quite evident attempts to purchase the general election will not be lost on the countless voters who have experienced the public A&E's, but then again he only requires a relatively small number in the summer to be a success. One imagines those five hundred letters winging their way to the richest citizens of Ireland will prove extremely slight in their electoral gains. However, funding his party's vigorous drive to election day may be complemented.
This week as been a watershed in the election race and one can foresee a savage battle on the cards. The PD's have come out with every cylinder explosive and on the attack, but with every comment they seem to strive ever further from the people's agenda. Their party has always skirted a tight line between success and extinction - but it seems likely now to founder in its own self importance before election day as even begun as it ticks the economic box, and we shout defiantly back "Fix our hospitals you fools"
