Wealth of the nation

I was delighted to read in the latest Bank of Ireland report that this country is the second richest in the world.

 I'm sure our Taoiseach who is a socialist will be equally delighted and that in no time at all some of this great wealth will be distributed and we will see shining new pristine schools and hospitals, education for all children regardless of their social standing and intellectual abilities.

Brand new public equipment  ranging from clean water filters to busses to city streets no longer potholed resembling central Bagdad.

And then I read a little further and saw that this vast wealth lay in the accounts of millionaires not in  the public purse and understood sadly that that is exactly where Bertie Ahern and the said millionaires want it to stay.
