Irish firm Steorn claim to have defied the laws of physics by creating “free energy”.
The Dublin-based company says that their device, which operates using magnetic fields and allegedly creates energy from nothing, can power anything from a small vehicle to an aircraft. The company's chief executive, Sean McCarthy, said they stumbled across the technology three years ago while looking at powering options for CCTV cameras. “During the years of its development, our technology has been validated by various independent scientists and engineers”. he said. The scientific community is sceptical about the company's claims as previous similar “breakthroughs” turned out to be duds.
