Lucinda Creighton, FG
Lucinda Creighton, Fine Gael
Mayo born Creighton entered politics when assisting Frances Fitzgerald in 2002, going on to run for local elections in 2004, taking Joe Doyles seat. At only 27, Lucinda is running in a difficult constiuency. With 5 candidates in a 4 seat consticuency it 'could go any way', resulting in Fine Gaels plan to run only one candidate in Dublin South East, hoping to maximise the election potential. Creighton has been involved in campaigns on planning (or lack of) and development, such as that of the Poolbeg incinerator. She finds her constituents are concerned with education and health. School have to deal with growing populations, there are many disadvantaged schools, and student-teacher ratio's need to be improved. Creighton believes that the results on these issues have not been delivered as promised
