A very important anniversary in the story of West Papua's long journey to Freedom will fall in exactly 1 week from now. Wednesday 15th August will be the 45th anniversary of the signing of the New York Agreement between the Dutch and Indonesian governments in 1962. The Free West Papa Campaign (UK) intends to mark this important date with a March for Justice for West Papua through the streetsof London.

ISME calls for less waffle and more action to address inflation crisis

ISME, the Independent Business Organisation for small and medium enterprise, has called for immediate Government action to address the unacceptably high level of inflation, which increased to 5%, up from 4.9% in June. The Association warned that unless a concerted plan was put in place to tackle the cost environment our competitiveness will continuously be eroded with the consequent reduction in economic growth and resultant job losses.

I am responding to the article that was sent to me by your FeedBlitz system regarding the report on the study into why so many young people don't vote, and the conclusion it came to that there would be more votes if voting by SMS or over the web was facilitated. I am an IT professional and currently work in the financial services industry designing and developing IT systems. I have been interested in electronic voting for the last 3 or 4 years. I am not currently active with any organisation that campaigns either for or against electronic voting systems.
