I'm not a Gerry Adams admirer, but he believed in a cause, not like our bankers and Taoiseach who are only motivated by money and greed.

As we face a bleak and uncertain future in both north and south of Ireland we need to move towards Truth and reconciliation in regards towards our troubled and tragic past. Let all ask for forgiveness for provoking the violence and giving hatred a stronghold on both sides. Those in power namely bible preaching unionists are just as cruel with their fascist dictats as the IRA WERE WITH THEIR BULLETS.

While I do not condone the actions of the IRA I also think the government have blood on their hands due to their deliberate policies that causes poverty and illness and the two tier healthy system do lead to early death.

Gerry Adams might simply have not taken the oath. He never denies his close involvement with the organisation. Therefore, I do not understand what all the fuss is about.
